Year 7 Normandy Trip

We are excited to offer our our then Year 7 learners a residential trip to Normandy in France from 11th to 15th April 2026. 

The trip has a busy itinerary which includes:

• A visit to a local market (a great opportunity for the children to practise their French)
• A visit to the Arromanches 360-degree cinema, overlooking the World War II landing beach.
• A visit to the town of Bayeux (unfortunately we cannot visit the famous tapestry as it is currently undergoing restoration work)
• A visit to the Caen Peace Memorial, which tells the story of World War II and the fight for peace.
• A visit to the Caramels d'Isigny sweet factory!
• A visit to the local beach
• A visit to Mont St Michel Abbey, which is a World Heritage site.
